Holiday homes with accessible features in Devon and Cornwall
Explore with confidence
We believe everyone should be able to enjoy a luxurious and stress-free holiday. That’s why we’ve curated a collection of our South West properties with features that are most suited to guests with access needs.
Whether you’re looking for wheelchair accessible cottages in Cornwall or sea-view hideaways on the Devon coast, a number of our homes have facilities designed to help with the practicalities of your holiday, without comprimising on luxury. The properties we've featured on this page all have at least one ground floor bedroom and bathroom. The social spaces are also on the ground floor so guests can enjoy quality time together, and there's step-free access from the outside space.
We've collated up-to-date information about each holiday home, so that guests with access needs can decide what works best for them. If you come across something you love, please look through the descriptions, photography, interactive floorplans, and "need to know" tabs for each property. You can also speak with our team about any specific requirements you have, and ask questions about what may or may not be suitable for your stay. Reach us on 01208 895 570 or info@perfectstays.co.uk.

At a glance:
• Sleeps 10 guests in Bigbury-on-Sea, South Devon
Accessible features:
• Five ground floor bedrooms and five ground floor bathrooms
• All social living areas are set over one level
• A collapsible ramp is available on request
Things to consider:
Overcombe is a single-level home suitable for guests who are able to manage a couple of steps around the internal and external areas. There are two shallow steps between the entryway and living area which we'd recommend requesting the ramp to help navigate. There's also one step down to the en-suite in bedroom five, which has a shower over the bath, rather than a cubicle.
Pentyak
At a glance:
• Sleeps 12 - 14 guests in Harlyn Bay, North Cornwall
Accessible features:
• Step-free access to the house from the parking area
• Three ground floor bedrooms and three ground floor bathrooms
• Ground floor "den" with an additional bed, living space and en-suite
• Open plan social spaces and wide corridors
• Sloping lawn from the living area to the lower garden
Things to consider:
Pentyak has a gravel parking area. To help navigate this, cars can be parked outside the front door where there's a large coir mat to aid guests using crutches, wheelchairs and mobility scooters.
The master bedroom and en-suite are suitable for guests with limited mobility. There are two entrances: a conventional door opening inwards from the hallway, and sliding doors from the patio beyond the living area. The first entrance doesn't have any raised thresholds and is carpeted. The patio doors are wider but have a lip.
VIEW PROPERTY PAGESea Breezes

Accessible features:

Things to consider:
Sea Breezes has a gravel parking area. One of the two ground floor bedrooms has bunk beds, so we'd recommend bedroom five as the most spacious room for guests with limited mobility. The en-suite has a hand rail in the shower, but the pebbled floor means it's not completely flat underfoot.

EXPLORE OUR CONCIERGE SERVICE“The Lawson Family, East Grinstead - Stayed at Sea BreezesI cannot recommend this company and the house we stayed in highly enough. Their Concierge Service was excellent at helping me to arrange everything from a private chef for my birthday dinner to activities, restaurant recommendations and ideas for things to do in the area. The house itself was beautiful with the most amazing view of the Camel Estuary and had everything we needed and more to ensure a Perfect Stay.
