Perfect Stays gives back
We’re proud of our roots in the South West and passionate about supporting the communities that make our region so special.
With a dedicated team of Charity Ambassadors at Perfect Stays, we aim to work with a different local charity each year. We support their fundraising efforts, promote and attend their events, and use our platform to raise awareness about the brilliant work they do. Previously, we’ve worked with The Wave Project and Children's Hospice South West. This year, our chosen charity is the Ocean Conservation Trust.
Our team members are also entitled to an annual paid volunteering day to support a local charity close to their heart. Alongside this, we’re committed to championing youth employment and career progression in Cornwall, and we’ve welcomed numerous work experience students in recent years.
Our chosen charity for 2024
In 2024, we're proud to be supporting the Ocean Conservation Trust. A Devon-based charity, they work hard to protect ocean habitats through large-scale awareness campaigns and education initiatives. They've built a dedicated team of marine biologists, researchers and ecologists who share the common goal to protect our oceans in three key ways:
1. Creating accessible and inclusive experiences for people to enjoy either on or in the water
2. Encouraging individuals, industries and governments to limit their impact on the ocean
3. Protecting vital ocean habitats through a bespoke regeneration programme

Volunteering days
Our team are entitled to an annual paid volunteering day to contribute to causes they're passionate about. This year, we've helped support a variety of charities and organisations located here in the South West, from helping with feeding, grooming, and exercising animals at RSPCA shelters to sorting and storing donated items at local food banks.
Additionally, our team have attended events including the Royal Cornwall Show with the Guide Dogs charity to increase awareness of the vital work they do here in the UK.
