Named after a picturesque Cornish cove on the west coast, Poldhu is a dream holiday home for families and groups of friends. The exterior is truly captivating, clad in timber, encased in glass and finished with striking black accents. Dog-friendly and set over two floors, the home’s sea views, elevated lookout lounge and four bedrooms make it a relaxing place to call home after days on Harlyn Bay Beach.
With the ocean in sight and direct garden access thanks to vast sliding doors, the inviting social areas blend effortlessly into one. A sleek kitchen finished in deep blue and cool grey tones overlooks the large dining table and cosy living area, with its plush sofas and Smart TV.
Upstairs in the lookout lounge, it’s easy to lose yourself in the sweeping sea vista that awaits through the treetops. From crashing tides to sunkissed sands, the beautiful view across Harlyn Bay is best savoured alongside crisp wine and local cheese. There’s also a bedroom nestled on this floor, enjoying the same coastal outlook from its king size bed. Benefiting from an en-suite bathroom, it makes a tempting refuge for couples wanting to break away from the group.
Taking their names from the surrounding Seven Bays, the remaining three bedrooms are on the ground floor, including one super king, one zip and link, and one king size room. Perfectly peaceful, the master suite awaits at the far end of the house. With an en-suite bathroom and a small private terrace with ocean glimpses, it lends itself to early birds hoping to make the most of the view. A welcome addition for hot summer months, each bedroom also enjoys air conditioning.
Stepping out into the garden from the kitchen, you’ll find a raised deck with a dining table to seat eight, plus a soft grassy lawn for games in the evening sun. Looking back at the house, the hot tub sits at the edge of the garden, while the charcoal barbeque and outdoor shower are best enjoyed after surf lessons and walks in the shallows.
Harlyn Bay and the local area promise to fill the holiday itinerary for days on end, with one of Cornwall’s best surfing beaches less than a five minute walk away. Also within 10 minutes on foot, lovers of fine food will relish the chance to dine at The Pig, where alongside a beautiful restaurant and kitchen garden, you’ll find the Potting Shed Treatment Rooms for relaxing spa days.

We had a wonderful stay at Poldhu as a family of six adults, a baby and a dog. The house was beautiful and in a fantastic location, with easy access to the expansive beach. We played golf on the nearby pristine course, hired bikes, ventured along the Camel Trail and also experienced a local kayaking trip. The holiday was just perfect and it was wonderful on an evening to relax outside in the garden and sit in the hot tub watching the sunset.
”We really enjoyed our stay, and the location is perfect for the beach. The house is very well set up and worked perfectly with three teenagers who enjoyed the hot-tub and exploring the beach. We hope to return again soon and definitely lucked out with the weather - seven brilliantly sunny days, what more could you ask for?!
”The most perfect holiday home in a fabulous location. The house was so comfortable and had everything we needed for humans and dogs. Perfect Stays is a great company to go with. Very efficient, great communication and reliable. I would certainly recommend the company, house and nearby beach.
”We stayed at Poldhu in Harlyn Bay. It's a lovely property with everything you need and situated so close to the beautiful beach. The hot tub was a success and with three dogs and a baby staying, the utility room was so useful. All communications we had with Perfect Stays were brilliant and all my questions were answered quickly.
”We loved Poldhu - its location was perfect for beach days and the garden was safe and enclosed for the dogs. The house itself was light, spacious and very well equipped and the air conditioning was a bonus on hot nights! Everything was perfect for our stay with six adults and two dogs.
”We had a great week at Poldhu in Harlyn Bay. It's a fantastic property in a great location. Everything was spotlessly clean and to a superb high-spec design. There's a lovely, enclosed garden with a great hot tub. There were also two routes to the beach, either down the road or via the footpath, both only a five minute walk. Great customer service from the Perfect Stays team during our stay, keeping in touch to make sure that everything was fine. We hope to book there again.
”Highly recommended from start to finish. Superb assistance prior to booking and throughout the booking process. Holiday accommodation was truly excellent, exceeded our expectations even. Spotless, beautiful inside and out, superb location, etc. And their concierge service was a holiday changer for us thanks to the bookings they secured on our behalf. Take me back!!!
