Step inside this storybook home to discover gorgeous country interiors and stunning coastal views. Featuring a kidney-shaped outdoor pool, a games room and a self-contained annexe, guests will be spoilt for choice with indoor and outdoor space. Occupying a coveted position in the historic village of Mullion, the cottage's traditional thatched roof and carefully curated furnishings create a welcoming and luxurious escape.
Designed to complement its period features, stone walls and exposed beams work harmoniously alongside colourful soft furnishings throughout the ground floor. The original stone fireplace has been given a new lease of life with a flickering wood burner that's best enjoyed over wine and games. Meanwhile, the open plan kitchen and living area is light and bright, with easy access into the garden.
Complete with a heated pool and inviting garden room, the expansive English country garden enjoys views across glistening tides and pockets of jewel-green countryside. Spread across two gently staggered tiers, return from days on the sand at Polurrian Cove and cook up family feasts on the barbeque and outdoor kitchen, before a twilight dip beneath the stars.
Upstairs, three of the four bedrooms are tucked underneath vaulted ceilings, including the master suite which is accessed via its own staircase. Each bedroom features a pared-back colour palette that's complemented by warm woods and vibrant pops of colour thanks to velvets and furs. In a newly refurbished building at the end of the garden, you'll find a self-contained annexe with the final bedroom, en-suite bathroom and kitchenette. Sleeping two guests, it's a tranquil retreat that's slightly separated from the buzz of the main house, and where every small detail has been considered to ensure a tasteful cottagecore aesthetic.
Home to traditional pubs, sea-view restaurants and bijou art galleries, Mullion is the largest village on the Lizard Peninsula. Despite its rise in popularity, the village retains much of its medieval charm, making it a must-visit destination for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. With popular foodie destinations like Porthleven and St Ives a short drive away, there’s plenty to fall in love with on your doorstep.

Both adorned with an array of colourful, patterned cushions and soft fur throws, they invite guests to sink in and relax in front of the Sony smart TV.
All the while, low, wooden beamed ceilings create an intimate atmosphere and soft, ambient light filters through the windows. An inviting space year-round, stoke the wood burner that sits inside an original stone fireplace on colder nights, or step straight out into the garden in the summertime and plunge into the pool within seconds.
